3° Period. Snow white and the seven dwarfs

This period we had to do a different project: A play.

We can´t say that we gave our best because we didn't for different causes, maybe because we didn't care or because it was difficult to work all togheter.

The most difficult task of this project was to get all togheter since we were a large team and not everyone were in Nura's house at the hour chosen.

After watching other plays I realized that the funniest parts of the play should be the choreographies but neither of us thought about putting one in the play. The only one was Heigh-Ho, but even this one wasn't good because the music stopped at the middle of the song. And the part omitted was the best part of the song.

Also, the clothes weren´t as good as we would like because of the lack of organization. This was the main problem, that we began to practice late and the lack of organization.

On the other hand, we know now what aspect we have to check and change in order to present a better play. If everyone do their best we can do it better.

ENGLISH PROJECT

2° PERIOD

I think that this Project improved my creativity because we had to make some funny spots about the conservation of our environment, that’s what I consider we most developed during the carrying out of this project.

In the other hand, we also developed others English basic skills such as speaking when we were talking in our spots, or when we were interviewing the people about the disabled people.

 Another important thing of this project was that it made us aware of the problems that’s having our planet, and that all of us have to make something in order to save it, even though if we’re the only ones who do it, because if the other people see us doing what is right, they will do the same.

The other topic of the project was the treatment that the disabled people received in their jobs. Those interviews were very useful to realize that there are jobs that the disabled people cannot do; however there are others that they can do, but some employers don’t give them the opportunity.

In the USA, they have laws that protect this kind of people and assist them so they can work efficiently in their jobs with some special accommodations to make their work easier or possible. But in Mexico, the government doesn’t give them any support. There are few organizations that help this people in the whole country where millions of people live. 

Another problem that this people have to face is the discrimination because of their disability, and this may cause a mental disturb that doesn’t let them work. So this means that our government is not working well, but is it fault of our government?

What can we do in order to improve their working conditions?

The things we can do is to be aware that they are normal people like us and that they need to gain money to eat or support their family, to avoid discriminating those people, and give them a little of money every time we see one of them asking for it in the street.

Another skill practiced in this project was the video edition on computer, because we had to join all the videos in one, and put some effects and sounds so it was better. Even though we had some problems joining the videos, at last we could get ahead this project.

This project was very useful because I could learn new vocabulary. Also it was nice to remember all that memories when I was little. It forced me to learn how to upload a presentation of Power Point and videos to Internet. It may be useful later for another project.
